History of Axiom Business Machines
Axiom Copy Products was founded in August of 1980 by Mark Olson and Bruce Henry. Originally located in the former Hatch and Russo Typewriter offices on East Second Street in Jamestown NY, and formed mainly as a service company for older copy technologies such as liquid development on specially treated rolls of paper.
Shortly after the company was formed Plain Paper Copiers were introduced and allowed offices to copy on both sides of regular paper. This new technology started the evolution of the copier into the machines we know today. Axiom experienced substantial growth over the next few years and began building their large customer base. In 1989 Mr. Olson bought out Mr. Henry’s interest in the company and became it’s sole owner, creating Axiom Business Machines.
In 1993 the company moved into a 7000 square foot facility in the recently revitalized Gateway area, later renamed Robert H. Jackson Square. The new millennium brought with it new and exciting technologies including the advent of the Digital Copier which could be placed on a computer network and eliminate the need for individual printers and fax machines, instead allowing one centralized multi-function device. Digital Color Copiers were being introduced during this time as well, allowing for Digital Copiers to eliminate the need for numerous and costly ink-jet color printers. The newest generations of Ricoh Digital Copiers also allow for the scanning and electronic retreival of documents, transforming them from mere copy machines into true Document Management systems.
Today Axiom Office Imaging is a local leader in document solutions, offering a wide range of copy and print products in both black and white, and color. We have a full support staff, which maintains and manages our document workflow solutions in hundreds of local offices in Western New York and North Western Pennsylvania.

WHERE DO WE GET THESE SYSTEMS?
Most of the machines come
directly from the manufacturer and are hand selected based on model and
usage. Some come from wholesalers including some outside the U.S.

WHAT IS THE CONDTION OF THESE SYSTEMS?
These are in excellent
shape and come to us basically broken in with a few months of practical
usage, at most.

ARE THEY RECONDITIONED?
Generally no. There is no
need to recondition them They are in such good shape that we test them, do
a quick clean up, if needed and deliver and install them.

WHY DON'T OTHER COMPANIES WORKING IN OUR AREA OFFER THESE TYPES OF SYSTEMS?
Most don't have access to
this type of equipment. Our owner has the contacts and relationships to
find these systems and offer them to offices in our area. Also, dealers
who carry more than one line and cover large geographic areas must meet
large new machine quotas to maintain their status with the manufacturer.
Axiom sells only one brand and covers a limited service area.

Yes, we offer the same rates for contracts as our new machines.

CAN WE GET BRAND NEW EQUIPMNET FROM AXIOM?
Absolutely! There were inventory issues a year or two ago throughout our industry but we have ready access to all of Ricoh's latest models at competitive prices.

CAN WE LEASE THESE MODELS?
Yes, we have leasing available and can often convert existing leases to a newer machine, much cheaper and usually on a shorter term.

WHAT SIZE AND PRICE RANGE ARE THESE MODELS?
We carry both color and black only models - all are office-grade, reliable machines and prices start at under $1,000.

WHAT ABOUT FEATURES?
These all are multifunction devices with copy/print and scan capabilities. Many larger machines have accessories like auto stapling and extra paper sources .... that are included at no extra charges. Often the accessories on these models sold for more than you might pay for the ENITRE SYSTEM.
